About the Position

The Project Engineer will support the successful execution of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role will provide technical, administrative, scheduling, cost-control, procurement, and project coordination support while working closely with Project Managers, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and owners.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of commercial or multifamily construction experience and a strong foundation in construction documentation, project controls, scheduling, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers with planning and execution of multifamily construction projects
• Assist with schedules, budgets, procurement, documentation, and project coordination
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents
• Coordinate RFIs, drawing updates, inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities
• Assist with CPM scheduling and Primavera P6
• Track project progress, milestones, costs, commitments, and financial performance
• Review invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor costs, and change orders
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment
• Participate in jobsite meetings, inspections, and project walks
• Track deficiencies and corrective actions
• Identify potential schedule, cost, quality, and procurement issues
• Maintain accurate and organized project records
• Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders to keep work moving efficiently

Requirements

• 2–5 years of commercial or multifamily construction experience
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project documentation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with construction submittals and RFIs
• Working knowledge of CPM scheduling and Primavera P6
• Understanding of construction accounting, cost tracking, and project financials
• Ability to effectively coordinate multiple project stakeholders
