Key Responsibilities
- Working to develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules, and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Maintain all machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including regular safety inspections.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
- Prepare requests for the ordering of spare parts and materials as needed to support maintenance activities.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience in Maintenance, preferably in food industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software.
