Who are we looking for?
Performs repairs and troubleshooting on food processing equipment to include, but not limitedto:stuffers, vacuum pumps, mixers, grinders, packaging machinery, conveyors, hydraulic units,multivacs, and ovens.
Key Responsibilities
- Installsreplacementbelts, filters, gears,chainsand valves.
- Rebuildsvalves,pumpsand gearboxes.
- Troubleshoots pneumatic,electricand hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.
- Performs repairs to machines involving machine guarding, boltreplacementand breakdowns due to mechanical wear.
- Weldsmachine components.
- Performs preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts,driveschains, etc.
- Handles installations, including hooking up air, water, gas and the alignment and leveling of equipment.
- Acts as a lead by training,mentoringand providing guidance to less experienced and hourly Maintenance employees.
Candidate Profile
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1+ years of related experience and/or training in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment; or 4 years’directexperience in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturingmaintenanceenvironment.
Pay $35.00 - $39.00
