About this role

  • Manage the day-to-day activities and career development of assigned artists, serving as the key liaison between artists and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute artist management plans covering music releases, promotional activities, public appearances, performances, brand collaborations, and other career development opportunities.
  • Coordinate new song and music releases, including release schedules, radio plugging, media promotion, interviews, digital platform exposure, and other publicity activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with radio stations, media, music platforms, record labels, producers, promoters, agencies, and other industry partners to maximize exposure and opportunities for artists.
  • Identify and secure suitable media exposure, performance opportunities, events, commercial engagements, endorsements, sponsorships, and brand collaborations for artists.
  • Work closely with PR, Partnerships, Film & Content Production, Concert Production, and other internal teams to develop integrated promotional campaigns and commercial opportunities for artists.
  • Coordinate with songwriters, producers, recording studios, record labels, distributors, and other external parties on music production and release-related activities where required.
  • Manage artists' schedules and coordinate interviews, rehearsals, performances, events, recording sessions, promotional activities, and other engagements.
  • Support the planning and execution of artist-related concerts, showcases, fan engagement activities, content productions, and promotional events.
  • Work closely with artists to understand their career objectives and provide professional advice on positioning, image, publicity, and development opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, music and entertainment developments, audience preferences, and potential opportunities to support artist development.
  • Manage artist-related projects, budgets, timelines, agreements, and deliverables, and ensure effective coordination among all relevant parties.
  • Handle ad hoc artist management matters and provide on-site support for performances, media engagements, events, and other activities when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Entertainment Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines, or equivalent qualification at HKQF Level 5.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in artist management, record labels, music promotion, entertainment, media, or related industries.
  • Proven hands-on experience in music release promotion, radio plugging, media pitching, and artist publicity in Hong Kong.
  • Strong industry network and established relationships with radio stations, media, music platforms, record labels, promoters, producers, and other entertainment industry stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing established or emerging artists and developing their career or commercial opportunities will be an advantage.
  • Experience in team management is preferred, with prior experience at supervisory level.
  • Solid understanding of the Hong Kong music and entertainment industry, including music releases, artist promotion, media engagement, live performances, and commercial collaborations.
  • Proven experience in managing artists and coordinating multiple stakeholders across music production, publicity, performances, events, and commercial activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with artists, management, media, business partners, and other external stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, detail-minded, and able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
  • Able to work flexible hours and attend performances, promotional activities, events, or other artist engagements when required.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua.
