Lead the Regional Coverage business in the assigned Region by translating strategy into sustainable growth, strong portfolio performance and exceptional client outcomes. Accountable for sales execution, profitability, risk and governance, stakeholder partnerships, operational effectiveness and the development of a capable, engaged team. Champion the Regional Coverage franchise in the assigned geographical location, build deep ecosystem relationships, and deliver exceptional financial.

• Regional Strategic Growth: Architect and deploy high-impact client strategy plans across core BCB sectors; cascade these targets to the Relationship Management team and drive collective execution to expand regional market share.
• Lead Generation & Team Coordination: Cultivate anchor relationships with key regional decision-makers to unlock high-value commercial opportunities; systematically direct and transition qualified leads to Commercial and Enterprise Relationship Managers for conversion.
• Ecosystem Mastery: Maps and penetrate high-potential sector ecosystems; guide RMs on cross-selling techniques to seamlessly deliver integrated value across both BCB and Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) lines.
• Market Insights & RM Upskilling: Analyse regional macroeconomic trends and competitor shift to protect the bank's portfolio; transfer this specialized industry knowledge to the RM team to elevate their advisory capabilities and client engagement.
• Financial & Risk Stewardship: Own the regional budget, pipeline velocity, and cost-to-income ratios; actively support RMs with expert sector inputs during credit presentations while enforcing a culture of strict compliance and zero covenant breaches

Qualifications

• A first degree in Business, Commerce or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years’ relevant experience in Business or Commercial Banking, including portfolio management, branch sales or client service.
• Knowledge of banking products, client onboarding, KYC, risk and compliance requirements.
• Experience in offshore financial environment with an ability to gather and analyse statistical information.
