We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager / Senior Manager – Accounting to lead and oversee key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Group Consolidation, and Finance Transformation initiatives. This role will play a critical part in driving process improvements, system enhancements, automation projects, and accounting system implementations to support the Company's continued growth and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, project management capabilities, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve finance operations in a dynamic fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidated financial statements for the Group.
  • Coordinate with Local and Group finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Review intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and elimination entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidated management reports, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for senior management.
  • Support statutory audits, regulatory reporting, and financial statement preparation according to IFRS.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Oversee billing, collections, customer reconciliations, and revenue-related accounting processes.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and collaborate with business teams to improve collection efficiency.
  • Ensure revenue recognition processes comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate AR processes.

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Review payment controls, approval workflows, and expense classifications.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process optimization and automation initiatives within AP operations.

Finance Transformation, Systems & Automation

  • Lead finance-related system implementation projects, including ERP, consolidation, reporting, and workflow solutions.
  • Act as the key liaison between Finance, Technology, Product, and external vendors during system enhancement and implementation projects.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Establish best practices and governance for finance systems, controls, and data integrity.

Compliance, Controls & Governance

  • Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support risk management and governance initiatives related to finance operations and systems.
  • Ensure accounting processes and controls remain effective following system changes and automation initiatives.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology, Product, and Compliance functions.
  • Support strategic projects and business initiatives as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to consolidation, AR, AP, and accounting operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CPD, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience in regional or multi-entity environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of TFRS/IFRS and consolidation principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and workflow automation tools.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Microsoft Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, technology, financial services, or multinational organizations is preferred.
