We have openings on first and second shift do to increased business.
Machine tooling components to support tool maintenance and automation requirements.
- Set up and operate one or more of the following machines: Manual lathe and/or manual mill, grinder, drill press, etc.
- Duties include machining complex geometries and threading.
- Work from factory work orders, routings, drawings, process drawings & layout sheets, written or verbal instructions.
- Apply technical application knowledge in tooling, blue print reading including GDT, and processes for a wide variety of materials.
- Inspect work produced, including in process inspection, using micrometers, bore gauges, vernier calipers, or other measuring instruments maintaining very close tolerances.
- Follow preventative maintenance procedures on equipment as prescribed by the supervisor and report operating difficulties of equipment.
- Train and instruct other employees when requested.
- Make proper labor and time reports.

Participate in continuous improvement teams as required

Ensure full implementation of all relevant procedures and instructions and ensure documentation and records are maintained adherent to ISO/TS 16949 Quality Systems
Qualifications
- Requires knowledge equivalent to school education plus ability to read and interpret component prints or drawings
- Make average to complicated arithmetic calculations and resolve elementary technical problems.
- 2 year technical degree in machining or equivalent offsetting experience.

Able to run manual machines, lathe, mill, surface grinder, drill press, etc.

Knowledge of inch & metric systems of measurement.
- Knowledge and experience using basic measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, toolmaker’s scope).

Must be able to manage multiple priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
