Your Role:Manufacturing Scientist/Technical ServicesIntern– Clinton, Indiana(Summer 2027)

As a Summer 2027Manufacturing Scientist/Technical ServicesIntern with Elanco Animal Health,you will be part of theTechnical and ManufacturingSciencesteamat ourClinton, Indianamanufacturing plant,to deliver a practical solution to reducing analytical variability, a technical project, or implementation of new lab methods. Interns will have exposure to many career pathsand diverse subject matter experts as many projects have site-wide impact.

Your Responsibilities:

• Understand the manufacturing environment and how to collaborate with different stakeholders to solve problems 

• Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or lab improvements 

• Learn about fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or packaging 

• Data visualization tool creation/usage and documentation updates 

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Education:Currently enrolled inChemistry,Biochemistry,ChemicalEngineering,MechanicalEngineering,BiomedicalEngineering, orasimilar major.

• TopSkills:Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn

• Have an interest in using data to solve problems, improving processes, or working in manufacturing

• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision

• Travel:10% - to corporate facility in Indianapolis, IN for opening/closing

• Location:Clinton Manufacturing Plant, Clinton, IN
