Mat Pilates Instructor

STUDIO OVERVIEW

Serasana means “To Be Healthy”, and our mission is to create a community of hope and healing. Serasana Holly Springs is a Wellness Center that fuses ancient wellness practices, specializing in stress and pain management, by encouraging regular use of acupuncture, yoga, massage, healing tea and remedies.

We are looking for one certified and experienced Mat Pilates Instructor to join our Holly Springs team. Our environment is unique--we have a beautiful tea bar and a thoughtful retail selection that supports our clients on their wellness journey. We have eight treatment rooms with a gorgeous studio, space for private yoga sessions and room to grow! Our location is next to Lowes Foods and The Blind Pelican in Holly Springs Crossing.

We are specifically looking for an instructor for a new heated Mat Pilates class on Sunday mornings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the Serasana model of health and wellness, and work together with fellow team members to help our clients take full advantage of available offerings
• Create safe and effective sequences for a heated mat pilates class, prepare the room, greet clients, ensure clients registered correctly, and instruct th class verbally and through appropriate physical demonstration as needed.
• Stay and answer questions after class, make announcements, promote workshops, and straighten room before leaving, which includes folding blankets, rolling straps, sweeping studio and sanitizing borrowed mats
• Provide personal mobile device with class playlist
• Assist in building the number of participants through social media marketing activities
• Monitor students and modify their movements using verbal cues, physical demonstration or hands-on adjustments, to maximize their potential and avoid injury

QUALIFICATIONS

• Great compassion and communication skills, willing to build a community of students
• Comfortable communicating with clients and announcing upcoming events and studio specials
• Current personal liability insurance as an instructor

REQUIREMENTS

• Able to physically demonstrate any movement included in your sequence
• Live a tobacco-free and vaping-free lifestyle
• Report to work free of any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol
