MBA Market Analysis Fall Intern - Clinical Programs (Part Time)

Location: Hybrid (Local to Denver or NYC area)

Position Summary:

• The intern will support the Clinical Programs team by: (1) leading a strategic initiative focused on market landscape analysis and conducting a formal RFP for a new condition management vendor, and (2) the evaluation of clinical quality and cost measures for a clinical pharmacogenomics program. This role offers hands-on experience in healthcare strategy, clinical evidence review, practical KPI development, and managed care operations.

  The intern will be responsible for developing and executing a market landscape analysis and RFP project in addition to developing clinical and cost KPIs to assess clinical program performance. Responsibilities include synthesizing available literature and evidence, interpreting statistical analyses, critically evaluating market research findings to develop RFP assessment of prospective clinical vendor partners, and translating findings into actionable insights and formal recommendations.

  The intern will collaborate with Clinical Programs, Analytics, and other cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate practical pharmacogenomics cost and quality measures, identify best in class clinical vendor partners to improve member outcomes, and assess them through a formal market landscape analysis and RFP.

  A key deliverable of the internship are a market landscape and evidence-based assessment to inform Clinical Programs strategy, development and execution of an RFP, and executive-ready summary of clinical and cost KPIs to evaluate pharmacogenomics (PGx) clinical program performance. The intern will gain experience in clinical and cost metric design, healthcare data analysis, statistical interpretation, healthcare strategy, and managed care operations.

  Position Responsibilities:

  Responsible for adherence to the Judi Health Code of Conduct, including reporting of noncompliance.

  • Develop pharmacy and medical cost and quality metrics aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Partner with Clinical Programs and Analytics teams to develop and execute RFP questionnaire(s) based on critical assessment of prospective clinical vendor partners and market landscape analysis
  • Collect, validate, and analyze healthcare, clinical, operational, and financial data into an executive-ready summary of actionable recommendations.
  • Identify trends, outcomes, and opportunities for quality improvement and enhanced program performance.
  • Create data visualizations, dashboards, and summary reports to communicate findings.
  • Present project findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support additional strategic, clinical, or financial initiatives within the Clinical Programs department as needed.

  Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in, recently completed, or experienced equivalent to an MBA, PharmD, MPH, MS, MHA, health economics, public health, business, consulting, or related graduate program.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate healthcare research, evidence quality, and practical business implications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret statistical analyses, synthesize complex clinical and economic findings, and communicate conclusions clearly to both business (non-clinical) and clinical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  (Optional) Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefits, pharmacogenomics, managed care, consulting, finance, healthcare analytics, market research, or healthcare strategy.
  • Familiarity with literature reviews, market landscape assessments, conducting an RFP, quality measures, cost measures, healthcare claims data, pharmacy benefits, or population health management.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and business case development.
