A leading mechanical services organization is seeking a Project Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team while directly contributing to project sales success. This role blends leadership, sales strategy, and technical expertise to drive repair/replace, and design-build project opportunities across diverse markets.

Requirements of the Project Sales Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering preferred.

  • 5+ years demonstrated success leading, mentoring and developing sales teams.

  • Proven experience in project sales, construction services, or mechanical/electrical systems.

  • Strong business acumen with project financials, forecasting, and profitability.

  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of project sales professionals.

  • Drive prospecting, pipeline development, and closing of service project contracts.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed booking targets.

  • Build and expand key customer relationships across commercial, healthcare, industrial, government, and education sectors.

  • Oversee project turnover, pre-construction planning, and execution alignment.

  • Collaborate with internal teams on scheduling, procurement, and delivery.

  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and productivity.

  • Support forecasting, billing, and profitability tracking.

  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle and project lifecycle.

  • Identify new opportunities and expand existing accounts.

  • Lead effective sales presentations and proposal development.
