Medical Assistant - Pediatrics and Vaccines

Full-time Medical Assistant back office, must have MA certificate, post externship experience required, experience in pediatrics, experience with vaccines, bilingual-English/Spanish, valid CPR approved by the American Heart Association a card a must.

This Medical Assistant will be providing support to nurses and providers. Works under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse/Lead Nurse. Provides assistance to the physician, mid-level provider, head nurse and patient; provides basic nursing procedure to non-acutely ill patients; assists in maintaining supplies and a safe clean environment.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of approved high school or GED equivalent
2. Medical assistant certificate
3. Minimum 5 years experience in pediatrics and/or vaccines
