Job Summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking skilled Medium Equipment Operators to join our team in Russel Springs, KY. This role involves safely and efficiently operating various types of medium-sized construction equipment for site preparation, excavation, and material handling on construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate medium-sized heavy equipment such as water trucks, articulated off road trucks, motor graders, rollers and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues or defects.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures on the job site.
• Load and unload materials, grade surfaces, dig trenches, clear land, and perform other tasks as directed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other personnel on the job site.
• Assist with general labor duties on the ground when equipment operation is not required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Follow project plans and specifications.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience operating various medium-sized heavy equipment.
• Proven ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and other construction documents is a plus.
• Possess a valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
