We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Merchandiser

Servicing Market Areas: Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock

Job Description:

Execute Wine and Beer Category Resets in Retail Accounts Execute Wine and Beer Category Resets.

• Building category Displays at retail
• Pulling back stock and merchandising it on the shelf
• Executing POS in the market
• Organizing POS in the Warehouse
• Provide Delivery Assistance
• Stocking Shelves and Coolers

Delivery Assistance/Merchandising:

• Meet Drivers in the morning to assist w/putting up orders daily
• Help Drivers merchandise the daily delivery but putting up bottles on the shelf, displays, cold Box
• Assist w/both ON and Off Premise Deliveries
• Ideal Candidate will reside in the Boone, Banner Elk, or Blowing Rock area
• During “IN SEASON” candidate will primarily assist in Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock-“Out of Season” geography may expand to Burnsville, Spruce Pine, West Jefferson, or Hickory
• Position is full time and offers benefits PLUS a Mileage reimbursement program

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of wholesale beverage industry and basic understanding of sales and marketing a plus
• Previous Merchandising Experience preferred.
• Reliable Transportation
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years old and qualify for an ABC Wholesale Salesmen permit
• Must have an active driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record
• Must be able to lift 25-35 lbs. repeatedly

Candidate must be able to pass criminal background and MVR.
