Knowledge of Linux/Unix internals and architecture. Must be comfortable working on the command line.
CI tools used in software development like: (Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis CI) and Issue Trackers like: (JIRA, Github Issues, Bugzilla) etc…
Atlassian Plug-Ins and Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, Stash, Bamboo
Prior experience with scripting and automating routine tasks. Eg: Perl/Python/Ruby, Make/Ant/Maven, Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Docker, etc…
Familiarity with network protocols, server setup and IAAS/PAAS eg: Amazon AWS, Heroku
Working knowledge of version control too like Git or SVN.
Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySql, Postgres, etc. Knowledge of non-relational such as MongoDB, Redis.
