Accountabilities

  • Lead focused and professional recruitment efforts to attract qualified candidates and ensure the right people are placed in the right roles.

  • Support facilities experiencing HR vacancies or requiring additional employee life cycle support, adapting quickly to changing operational needs.

  • Develop and maintain employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive, respectful, and values-driven workplace culture.

  • Partner with managers to strengthen people leadership and enable them to focus effectively on their teams and employees.

  • Implement recognition and retention initiatives designed to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.

  • Ensure HR practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across recruitment, engagement, retention, and broader HR processes.

  • Serve as a creative, forward-thinking HR resource capable of introducing practical solutions and supporting organizational change.

  • Travel to relevant meetings and healthcare locations as business needs require.

  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

    • At least 2 years of experience managing personnel within a Human Resources function.

    • Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience, with demonstrated ability to attract and select qualified candidates.

    • Previous healthcare experience is required; experience in long-term care is preferred.

    • Prior experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is required.

    • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or a comparable HR certification is preferred.

    • Working knowledge of federal and state employment regulations and their practical application in the workplace.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Excellent public speaking, written communication, grammar, and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong attention to detail and a professional, service-oriented approach.

    • Demonstrated ability to drive engagement, support change, identify improvements, and work effectively with managers and employees.

    • Willingness and ability to travel to meetings and assigned locations as needed.
