About the role:

This is a great opportunity to join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as an Occupational Therapist – Level 2 on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week).

In this role you’ll play a pivotal part in providing high-quality, patient centred care across a diverse inpatient caseload. You’ll be working a team of highly skilled clinicians to support our patients on the journey through their assessment, rehabilitation and right through to their hospital discharge.

Things that work for us:

• A current registration with AHPRA

• Relevant qualifications within the Allied Health sector

• Experience working within a private hospital or acute facility, desirable but not essential

• Strong commitment and professionalism to patient centred care

• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks and duties with a high degree of independence, including caseload management

• Demonstrated sound understanding of the health care continuum

• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our occupational therapy team works with a broader multidisciplinary allied health team across the following areas: general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, cancer care intensive care, palliative care, maternity and paediatrics, cardiac and neurology.
