Operations Manager - eCommerce & DTC
AI Summary
Owns end-to-end operations for a DTC/eCommerce brand, managing supply chain, fulfillment, customer service, and cross-functional teams while building scalable SOPs and reporting.
About this role
This is not a specialist role. You'll work closely with the founders and take ownership across operations, supply chain, fulfillment, Customer Service, people, and processes.
What you'll own
Own day-to-day operations and identify bottlenecks before they become problems
Build and implement SOPs, workflows, and systems in Notion
Oversee supply chain, inventory, purchasing, logistics, 3PL, and fulfillment
Help lead Customer Service and cross-functional teams
Support hiring, onboarding, team accountability, and performance
Manage projects from idea → execution with minimal founder involvement
Build reporting and KPIs that give leadership clear visibility
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, 3PLs, and other external partners
What we're looking for
Must have:
Direct, in-house experience operating a physical-product DTC/eCommerce brand
3+ years in Operations, General Management, or a similar leadership role
Experience across multiple business functions, not just one department
Strong supply chain, inventory, fulfillment, and 3PL experience
Proven experience building SOPs and scalable processes
Experience hiring, managing, and holding teams accountable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong plus:
Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or nutrition
Experience working directly with founders in a high-growth DTC company
Head of Operations, General Manager, COO, or Chief of Staff background
We're looking for someone who has actually operated inside a DTC brand and can connect the pieces across the business.
If you've been the person founders rely on to make sure the business actually runs, we'd love to hear from you.
