Operations Manager - Hospice & Home Health

Our Hospice & Home Health teams provide incredible care, but excellent care requires an exceptional backbone. We are looking for an Operations Manager to serve as the strategic right hand to our Director of Nursing.

In this role, you won't just keep the gears turning—by delivering real-time visibility into agency operations, you remove the administrative burden from our clinical leaders so they can focus fully on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Workflows: Oversee the end-to-end process for billing coordination, clinical staff scheduling, QA compliance audits, and insurance authorization/eligibility.
• Alignment: You will seamlessly connect intake, scheduling, authorizations, and billing to keep operations moving efficiently and in compliance.
• Reporting: Translate raw numbers into insight. You will build and present clear weekly/monthly administrative reports on census trends, billing health, and staff utilization for Administration.
• Partnership: Act as the DON's strategic administrative partner, so nursing leadership can focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in healthcare operations management, with strong preference in Hospice or Home Health experience.
• Software: Hands-on experience navigating and managing workflows inside WellSky (Kinnser) is preferred.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of Medicare eligibility, pre-authorization cycles, scheduling logistics, and healthcare compliance.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to turn data into clean summaries and metrics for operational reporting.
