About the Role
Optical Assistant | Full-Time | Monday–Saturday
Looking for a role where great patient care comes first?
We’re looking for a friendly, confident Optical Assistant to join our team of 7. You’ll be a key part of the patient journey, from pre-screening and frame styling through to adjustments and aftercare.
With 40-minute to 1-hour appointments, you’ll have the time to properly look after your patients, build relationships and provide a personal service — without feeling rushed.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting patients with frame styling, product advice and aftercare
- Carrying out pre-screening and other clinical support tasks
- Helping with fittings, adjustments and dispensing
- Building great relationships with patients and colleagues
- Supporting the smooth running of the practice and keeping displays and equipment looking their best
What we’re looking for
You don’t need previous optical experience; we’re happy to consider someone with strong customer service or administration experience who is friendly, organised and keen to learn.
You’ll be someone who:
- Loves working with people
- Has great attention to detail
- Takes pride in providing excellent service
- Is confident, reliable and a team player
- Has a genuine interest in learning and developing within optics
