About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Optometrist to join our expert clinical team in Chelmsford. In this role, you will enjoy:

• Unrushed Patient Care: Deliver thorough care with 40-minute testing clinics, backed by pre-screening support and advanced equipment, including digital imaging slit-lamps and phoropters.

• Clinical Freedom & Development: Influence future clinical projects (such as dry eye and other specialist services), and take advantage of sponsorship or practical utilisation for your IP qualification, with FP10 commissioned directly at the practice.

• Supervision Opportunities: Opportunity to supervise a pre-reg optometrist starting from Summer 2027.

• Collaboration: Participate in quarterly optometrist meetings with colleagues across the group to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and continually elevate clinical standards.

• Mentorship & Career Progression: Receive direct mentorship from an Optometrist Director with over 20 years of optical experience. We are genuinely committed to growing our people - our previous two Optometrists went on to become Directors of their own independent practices!

Additional Information:

• You must be registered with the GOC in order to apply for this role
• Our frame selection includes: Tom Ford, Face A Face, Lindberg, Moscot & Maui Jim
• We have 4 consulting rooms: 2 testing rooms, 1 dedicated dry eye room & 1 for audiology
• We are a team of 10+
• This role requires you to work 2 Saturdays a month
• Our appointment times are 40 minutes
