OutSystems Front-End Developer, Senior

Adree is seeking a creative and detail-oriented OutSystems Front-End Developer, Senior to elevate the user experience and visual interface of our digital products. This role focuses heavily on the look, feel, and responsiveness of OutSystems applications. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX wireframes and mockups into high-fidelity, reusable OutSystems themes, blocks, and templates. Operating at the intersection of design and low-code engineering, you will ensure seamless web and mobile user interfaces that are pixel-perfect, highly performant, and compliant with accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities

• UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma or Adobe XD wireframes/mockups into fully functional, high-performance OutSystems Reactive Web and Mobile interfaces.
• Theme & Style Guide Creation: Design and maintain robust OutSystems custom themes, CSS style guides, and reusable UI components (Web Blocks) to enforce design consistency across multiple apps.
• Advanced Styling: Use Advanced CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript to extend the OutSystems UI framework, creating custom layouts and interactive components when native widgets are insufficient.
• Cross-Browser & Device Optimization: Ensure all developed interfaces are fully responsive, pixel-perfect, and optimized for cross-browser and multi-device performance.
• Performance Tuning (Front-End): Optimize front-end rendering, DOM manipulation, asset loading, and client-side logic to ensure rapid application load times.
• Collaboration: Work side-by-side with UI/UX Designers to validate feasibility, and with Back-End/OutSystems Developers to bind UI components to data actions and APIs.
• Accessibility & Standards: Apply web accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and UI design patterns strictly across all developed screens.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, UI/UX Design, or a related field.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Front-End Web Development, with a minimum of 2–3 years specializing inside the OutSystems platform focusing on UI capabilities.

Skills & Competencies (Technical & Analytical + Soft)

• OutSystems UI Framework: Mastery of OutSystems UI widgets, customization of patterns, and client-side logic/actions.
• Core Web Technologies: Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Advanced CSS (SASS/LESS), and Vanilla JavaScript / Modern JS frameworks.
• Design System Literacy: Comfort working directly from design tools like Figma, Zeplin, or Lucidchart.
• Responsive Layouts: In-depth knowledge of Flexbox, Grid systems, and mobile-first responsive design paradigms.
• Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for typography, alignment, animations, micro-interactions, and visual hierarchy.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between design visions and technical low-code constraints.
