People Business Partner

About the Role

We’re looking for a People Business Partner to join Axis and work closely with our teams and leaders to support our growing organization.

This is a hands-on People role covering Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Learning & Development, Performance Management, and People Operations. You’ll act as a trusted partner to managers and employees while helping us build a strong employee experience and high-performance culture.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and support end-to-end recruitment for assigned functions.

• Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and hiring priorities.

• Support the performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement.

• Drive talent management and development initiatives, including career development and succession planning.

• Identify learning needs and coordinate L&D programs and development initiatives.

• Support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and culture activities.

• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day People matters.

• Support onboarding, probation, internal movements, promotions, and offboarding.

• Track key People metrics and provide insights to support better people decisions.

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of People policies and processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of experience in HR / People functions.

• Strong experience in Talent Acquisition, with exposure to other People areas.

• Experience in Talent Management, L&D, Engagement, Performance Management, or People Operations.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong command of English and Arabic.

• Experience in fintech, technology, startups, or financial services is a plus.
