Valocity Limited is seeking a People, Talent and AI Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity based in Auckland CBD, Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our people and talent strategies whilst leveraging artificial intelligence to drive organisational success. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between traditional HR practices and innovative AI-driven solutions, ensuring our organisation remains at the forefront of people management excellence. You will work collaboratively across departments to implement cutting-edge talent solutions that enhance recruitment, employee engagement, and overall organisational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Attract and recruit exceptional talent
• Create an outstanding onboarding experience
• Identify, retain and develop our highest performers
• Strengthen performance, development and succession planning
• Co-ordinate practical AI learning, workshops and capability building
• Turn AI use cases and successes into learning across the company
• Build a strong cadence of recognition, connection and celebration
• Give our people an accessible, trusted People and Culture partner
• Use people data and insights to continuously improve how we operate
• Ensure our people foundations, policies and processes remain strong as we scale

Who we're looking for

You may have 2–5 years' experience across People and Culture, talent, recruitment, organisational development or people operations, ideally within technology or another fast-moving environment.

But we're hiring for potential as much as experience.

You'll probably be someone who is naturally curious, highly organised and energetic. You like people, but you also understand that great culture comes from high standards, clear accountability and helping talented people perform at their best.

You get things done.

You're comfortable talking with everyone from a new graduate to the CEO. You're commercially minded, exercise good judgement and don't wait to be told what needs fixing.

And you're genuinely excited about AI. You don't need to be an AI expert. You do need to want to learn quickly, experiment and help other people become more capable.
