About this role
Your mission
Join the NAGASE Group as our next Pharmaceutical Business Support (m/f/d) and support the European pharmaceutical market as a central liaison between suppliers and clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for European suppliers and clients
- Handle pharmaceutical raw materials (intermediates, APIs, excipients), ensuring quality and regulatory compliance
- Support new and ongoing inquiries by identifying potential suppliers in Europe
- Drive new product development projects with suppliers and clients globally
- Manage quotations, contracts, and orders in close coordination with logistics and compliance teams
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure alignment with customer requirements
Your profile
Work experience
- Minimum 3+ years of on-site sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, APIs, or healthcare-related industries
- Experience in international business, import/export processes, and regulatory compliance
- Proven negotiation experience with overseas manufacturers and clients
Skills & qualifications
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English
- University degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Business Administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of GMP and GDP guidelines
Personal skills
- Adaptable, responsible, and trustworthy in building long-term business relationships
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements
Working location & mobility
- Based in Düsseldorf, with the possibility to work remotely within Germany
- Regular presence at the Düsseldorf office is required
- Willingness to travel and work independently in a global environment
