Physical Therapist Assistant – Orthopedic Outpatient Care in Boca Raton

For the PTA Who Likes Practical Rehab Work

This role is hands-on, active, and patient-facing. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll help patients complete the treatment plan created by the Physical Therapist and support progress through movement, exercise, and education.

The clinic is PT-owned, outpatient orthopedic, and located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Patient Volume

You’ll typically work with 2 patients per hour, allowing for focused instruction and better patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT
• Guide patients through strengthening, stretching, balance, and mobility exercises
• Support gait training and functional movement activities
• Watch patient performance, comfort, and safety
• Communicate patient updates to the supervising PT
• Reinforce home exercise programs
• Complete accurate daily notes
• Keep treatment areas clean, prepared, and organized

Requirements

• Active Florida PTA License
• PTA Degree required
• Outpatient experience required, including clinical rotation experience for new graduates
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Schedule, Pay, and Benefits

• Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year
• Schedule: Flexible — 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
