Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

This Physical Therapist Assistant role is with a PT-owned outpatient orthopedic office in Hallandale Beach, FL. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to deliver treatment programs for patients recovering from injuries, pain, surgery, and movement limitations.

The clinic offers a patient pace of 2 patients per hour, along with flexible scheduling and full benefits.

Role Highlights

• Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year
• Schedule: 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Office
• Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour
• Clinic Type: PT-owned

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment interventions under PT supervision
• Guide patients through strengthening, mobility, balance, and flexibility exercises
• Assist with functional training and gait activities
• Monitor how patients respond during treatment
• Communicate changes, concerns, or progress to the PT
• Reinforce home exercise programs
• Complete accurate daily documentation
• Support a clean and organized treatment environment

Requirements

• Active Florida PTA License
• PTA Degree
• Outpatient experience preferred
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Interest in orthopedic care
• Ability to follow plans of care and communicate clearly
