Platform Engineer – Cloud Native

We’re looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to join a team building and evolving a cloud-native platform used to develop, test, and deploy complex software in production environments. If you enjoy working close to infrastructure, automation, and developer workflows, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

About the Role

As a Platform Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for a modern platform running on AWS with Kubernetes (EKS). The platform supports CI/CD pipelines, large-scale builds, and internal developer tooling.

You’ll work closely with development teams to improve how software is built and delivered, while contributing to the reliability, scalability, and usability of the platform.

This is not just an operations role. You’ll be involved in architecture, automation, and continuous improvement, helping shape a platform that engineers rely on every day.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain a cloud-native platform on AWS
Work hands-on with Kubernetes in production environments
Improve CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
Collaborate with engineering teams to support and optimize development processes
Drive initiatives from idea to production
Contribute to platform architecture and technical decisions
Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of the platform
Support and mentor team members where needed

What We’re Looking For

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform
Good understanding of CI/CD and automation
Experience within security or networking
Programming experience in Go, Python, Rust, or similar
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and solutions
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Nice to Have

Experience with AWS EKS
Familiarity with GitOps and ArgoCD
Experience with observability and monitoring tools
Knowledge of container networking
Experience designing scalable systems
Familiarity with Nix
