Platform Product Manager

The Principal Product Manager, Platform owns the core platform layer in Holafly, understanding , managing and producing repeatable tools for the line organisations. They are responsible for the Return on Investments for the work being prioritised on the platform’s backlog. They should be able to represent the technical decisions and business decisions at the leadership level.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Developer Platform (IDP) Product Ownership: Treat internal platform capabilities as strategic products by deeply understanding both their technical architecture and commercial impact. Partner closely with engineering teams to prioritize the IDP backlog, balance build-vs-buy trade-offs, and ensure repeatable developer tools are delivered on time to maximize engineering velocity and developer time saved.

• Risk-Based Security, Governance & Trade-offs: Translate complex technical security, identity, and compliance needs into clear commercial risk models for business stakeholders. Collaborate with security and core engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and execute governance initiatives on schedule, balancing user friction, system exposure, and audit readiness against business growth.

• Reliability Optimization & Backlog ROI: Quantify the financial and operational impacts of downtime to establish high-value SLAs and SLOs. Act as the bridge between business and tech by representing resilience needs at both levels, prioritizing platform health against feature requests, and working with engineering to execute high-impact reliability improvements within capacity constraints.

• Quality & Release Pipeline Execution: Evaluate the cost of production defects against the operational investment required for automated release pipelines. Work side-by-side with delivery teams to refine and execute backlog items that streamline deployment, ensuring quality governance investments are delivered efficiently and minimize production failure risks.

• Commercial Platform Strategy: Partner with line PMs to model revenue impact and TCO across integrations. Evaluate vendors for maximum value and lead execution on monetization flows.

Qualifications & Experience

• Enterprise Software Delivery: Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise software delivery, successfully managing complex technical dependencies and delivering platform solutions on schedule.

• B2B & B2C Platform Impact: Demonstrated ability partnering with cross-functional teams to build, scale, and optimize core platform capabilities across both B2B and direct-to-consumer delivery models.

• Telecom & Domain Expertise: Experience navigating the telecom ecosystem, managing core cellular/connectivity infrastructure, and integrating third-party vendor platforms to drive operational efficiency.
