Polymer Sourcing Specialist

• Sourcing Polymer (PE, PP, PVC) by developing a business plan that covers procurement, revenue, and expense controls.

• Developing new suppliers, maximizing sourcing volume and enhancing business relationships.

• Maintaining and reporting sourcing and procurement information in a timely and accurate manner.

• Understanding suppliers' end markets and procurement strategies.

• Continuous communication with internal counterparts in other countries to ensure timely and accurate solutions to increase efficiency.

• Increasing the presence of company in polymer business by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited school(preferred)

• 5 years of domestic sourcing + exporting experience in the polymer industry(must)

• Proven experience in exporting US locally sourced products to Europe, Latin America and Asia etc.

• Sourcing experience at chemical distribution companies(preferred)

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business trips

• Ability to create new opportunities and convert sourcing strategies into tangible results

• Resourcefulness and persistence in prospecting potential clients and suppliers

• Excellent communication skills
