SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

  • This is a full-time, in-person position with a typical Monday–Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Flexible scheduling options, including a 9/80 schedule with alternating Fridays off or a 4/10 schedule, may be available.

  • Final candidate mustestablishand maintainresidencywithin a 30 minute or less response timetodesignatedCity facilities for emergency response.

  • This position is open until filled, with first consideration given to those applicants who apply prior to August 30, 2026.

Selectionwill be based on overallqualifications, skills testing(if applicable), and an interview process.The final candidate selected will be subject to a comprehensive background/reference checkcommensurateto the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in engineering, business, or related field

  • Five (5) years of experience in utility operations and electrical distribution or transmission systems

  • Three (3) years in a supervisory role

Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver’s license

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading and supervising employees in a unionized work environment, including labor contract administration and employee relations.

  • Experience with operations and maintenance of an electric utility distribution system.

  • Experience developing and managing multi-year capital and expense budgets.
