At Serigraph, we bring brands to life through innovative print and graphic solutions. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Feeder Person to support our pressroom team. In this role, you’ll help keep production running smoothly by preparing and maintaining the feeder on our offset presses, monitoring print quality, and assisting press operators to deliver top-quality results for our customers.

Press Assistant / Feeder Person Responsibilities -
Prepare offset color press for production runs per job ticket, including filling fountains with ink, obtaining and loading stock, and adjusting feeder head, paper guides, and suckers.
Monitor paper feed and sheet travel during production; make necessary adjustments to maintain continuous operation.
Inspect printed sheets for quality issues; identify problems and make corrective adjustments, including monitoring conductivity and alcohol levels.
Perform routine press clean-up, including gumming and washing plates, cleaning blankets, and lubricating/oiling the press as needed.
Replace blankets and fill heat exchangers with water.
Retrieve stock, ink, and other pressroom supplies as required.
Assist with the operation of other offset presses as directed.
Ensure quality and stop production to correct quality concerns. Inform management of products and/or processes that do not conform to requirements.
Ensure all environmental practices and materials are handled and disposed of per appropriate procedures in your area.
Support Serigraph's current quality business system and understand the use of SPECS, the Serigraph quality manual.
What we are looking for in a Press Assistant / Feeder Person -
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of good departmental and company safety/housekeeping/PPE practices.
Understand departmental procedures and policies.
Preferred Qualifications of a Press Assistant / Feeder Person -
Ability to interpret and understand job tickets.
Ability to accurately enter information into the ERP system.
Prior experience assisting in training feeder persons, vocational students, or apprentices.
