The work spans spend analysis, category strategy, sourcing, supplier optimisation and implementation of sustainable procurement improvements.

Tasks

• Analyse spend, supplier and category data to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities
• Develop and implement category, sourcing and supplier optimisation strategies with cross-functional client teams
• Establish robust procurement processes, performance tracking and governance to ensure savings and benefits are sustained

Requirements

• An independent consultant
• 5+ years’ experience in strategic procurement, sourcing or category management
• Strong experience in spend analysis, supplier management and cost reduction
• Consulting experience preferred, with strong client and stakeholder management skills
