Product Manager | Kimchi AI Coding Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager | Kimchi AI Coding Platform based in Switzerland.

As a Product Manager, you will help shape an emerging AI coding platform focused on how engineering organizations build and operate AI-powered software. You will work across AI coding, agents, inference, model orchestration, governance, and supporting infrastructure. This is a greenfield role where the most important problems are not always clearly defined, requiring strong discovery, product judgment, and analytical thinking. You will work closely with engineering, design, customers, and go-to-market teams to turn early insights into validated opportunities and 0→1 products. Success will involve more than launching features: you will be accountable for adoption, customer value, and continuous iteration. This is an opportunity to influence both the product direction and the way a rapidly evolving AI product organization operates.

• Explore customer needs, usage data, technology developments, competitive products, and market signals to identify high-value problems and product opportunities.
• Turn ambiguous opportunities into clearly defined problems, hypotheses, assumptions, experiments, and product direction.
• Lead 0→1 product development from initial insight and discovery through validation, launch, adoption, and iteration.
• Design efficient ways to validate whether problems are meaningful and proposed solutions deliver measurable customer value.
• Make prioritization decisions based on customer evidence, product data, market signals, technical constraints, and strategic considerations.
• Conduct customer discovery, observe workflows, understand underlying motivations and constraints, and distinguish individual requests from broader market needs.
• Partner closely with engineering and design teams to shape solutions and evaluate technical possibilities and trade-offs.
• Define customer and business outcomes, establish appropriate success metrics, and use evidence to guide product decisions.
• Remain accountable after launch by monitoring adoption, usage, customer value, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create concise product narratives, one-pagers, PRDs, decision documents, and other written materials that align distributed teams around priorities and rationale.
• Communicate complex technical and product concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Help shape the evolving product strategy, customer understanding, market positioning, and product development practices.

Requirements:

• Significant experience owning software products end-to-end at a Senior Product Manager level or equivalent.
• Strong 0→1 product management experience, taking products or significant product areas from ambiguous opportunities through discovery, validation, launch, and iteration.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, greenfield, rapidly changing, or emerging product environments.
• Strong product judgment and problem-selection skills, with the ability to determine which opportunities are worth pursuing before investing heavily in solutions.
• Excellent customer discovery skills and the ability to uncover underlying problems rather than simply responding to stated feature requests.
• Strong analytical capabilities, combining qualitative insights, product data, market signals, and technical constraints to make informed decisions.
• Experience working closely with highly technical engineering teams and sufficient technical curiosity to understand complex systems, possibilities, and trade-offs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to simplify complex topics without losing important nuance.
• Demonstrated bias toward experimentation, learning, and evidence-based decision-making rather than relying on large upfront plans.
• Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and changing direction when new evidence warrants it.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools and an active interest in understanding how LLMs and AI agents affect both products and product development workflows.
• Experience with developer tools or products built for software engineers is a plus.
• Experience with AI/ML products, LLM infrastructure, AI agents, or AI-powered developer tools is advantageous.
• Experience with infrastructure, platforms, APIs, or technically complex B2B products is beneficial.
• Experience discovering product-market fit, working at an early-stage startup, or launching new products within a larger organization is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise products and direct customer engagement during discovery and product development is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-moving distributed environment.
