As our operations continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and hands-on Production Machine Operator to support our manufacturing operations in McKinney, Texas.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Machine Operator to operate and support our tea and liquid production and packaging equipment.

This is a hands-on, part-time position with hours scheduled based on production demand and available work. The ideal candidate has previous experience operating manufacturing, production, packaging, or industrial machinery and is comfortable working in a warehouse/production environment.

We will provide training on our specific tea and liquid production equipment. However, candidates should already have a strong general understanding of machine operation, workplace safety, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Production Machine Operator will:

• Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down tea, liquid, filling, packaging, and related production equipment.
• Follow established operating procedures, production instructions, and safety requirements.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and identify common operating issues.
• Monitor equipment during production to ensure proper operation and consistent output.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and promptly report mechanical or equipment issues requiring additional maintenance.
• Complete required production, batch, and equipment records accurately.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and sanitation before, during, and after production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production and warehouse environment.
• Follow applicable quality, sanitation, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures.
• Assist with material movement, staging, packaging, inventory, and other warehouse activities as production needs require.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment when appropriately trained and authorized.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, quality, and management team members.
• Perform other production and warehouse duties as assigned.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating manufacturing, production, packaging, processing, or industrial machinery.
• General machinist, industrial machinery, manufacturing, machine-operation, or comparable technical training/certification preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new production equipment.
• Ability to follow written operating procedures and production instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around safety, quality, and sanitation.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with appropriate supervision.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely perform the physical functions required in a production environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating filling, liquid processing, tea, food, beverage, supplement, packaging, or similar production equipment.
• Experience working in a food, beverage, dietary supplement, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Forklift training/certification and previous forklift experience.
• Experience with basic machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, or equipment changeovers.
• Previous warehouse or inventory experience.
  
  

Machine-Specific Training

Prior experience with our exact equipment is not required.

Herbal Goodness will provide training on the specific tea, liquid, filling, and packaging machines used at our McKinney facility.

We are looking for candidates with a solid foundation in industrial or production machine operation who can apply that experience to learning our equipment and processes.

Schedule & Compensation

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

This is a part-time, demand-based position. Work hours may vary from week to week based on production schedules, order volume, and available work. We do not guarantee a fixed number of weekly hours.

We have reasonable scheduling flexibility and can work with candidates to schedule appropriate times as production needs arise.
