Report line: Director (Vietnamese)
- Lead and drive the setup of production functions (SMT, Final Assembly & Testing, Rework) during the factory’s ramp-up phase, ensuring readiness in manpower, processes, and equipment.
- Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and capacity, ensuring smooth daily operations and full compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and applicable standards, including:
+ ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
+ IATF 16949 (Automotive Quality)
+ ISO 13485 (Medical Devices)
+ ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
+ ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
+ ISO 27001 (Information Security)
- Monitor, analyze, and report production performance (KPIs such as output, yield, OEE, on-time delivery), and implement corrective and continuous improvement actions.
- Coordinate with the activities of the electronics component and assembly warehouse, including the receipt and issuance of materials to production, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Ensure efficient coordination of inbound materials and outbound shipments to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to materials, production processes, and logistics to minimize disruptions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Lead and develop production planning and warehouse teams, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and engaged workforce.
- Represent production and warehouse functions in internal and external audits; ensure audit readiness and compliance, and participate in periodic inventory activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within production, production planning, or logistics planning, preferably in an EMS or manufacturing environment.
- Strong capability in production planning and control, with the ability to manage workflows and effectively resolve operational issues.
- Solid understanding of supply chain, warehouse management, and end-to-end production processes.
- Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
- High sense of ownership, responsiveness, and accountability, with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely and effective decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in Vietnamese (required) and good command of English, both written and spoken.
