Based in Lebanon, Expertise Recruitment is a boutique recruitment company that offers recruiting services including headhunting and executive search, within a wide range of industry sectors. 

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Project Engineer with a civil engineering background and solid contracting experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a strong focus on finishing works and on-site execution. Experience working on projects in Africa is a strong advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring project execution aligns with design specifications, timelines, and budget.

• Monitor progress and quality of finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring, ceiling, and interior fit-outs.

• Collaborate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical and operational issues.

• Ensure compliance with local construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.

• Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and feasibility.

• Support procurement and material planning for finishing works.

• Attend site meetings and provide input on project planning and sequencing.

 

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a contracting company, with hands-on involvement in site execution.
• Proven track record in finishing works on mid to large-scale construction projects.
• Previous experience in Ghana or other African countries is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
