PROJECT OFFICER

A highly respected international development organization working to eliminate avoidable blindness and promote equality of opportunity for disabled people.We are looking for highly motivated and skilled individuals to support with this ambitious project.

The primary purpose for the post is to support the implementation of the Mapping of Schistosomiasis and soil Transmitted Helminthiasis project and report to the Programme manager.

Work with partners to develop project implementation plans

Support partners to ensure appropriate documentation of all project activities and to ensure timely and high quality reporting(Both narrative and financial)

Be an active member of the country team, assisting the Country Director and programme Manager to monitor and analyze progress against project plan and to compile regular reports(monthly and quarterly.)

Take the lead in the implementation of the mapping.

Qualifications

Degree in Relevant Field (Development Sciences, Social Sciences, Human Rights, Health, Public Health.)

Knowledge and previous experience in Schistosomiasis and Soil Transmitted Helminthiasis Control Programmes will be an added advantage.

Experience in all aspects of project and partnership management

Minimum of 3 years working experience.

Experience in working in an international NGO environment.
