Protheus Specialist responsible for delivering backlog solutions and customizations for the backoffice, defining functional specs, technical design, system landscape, monitoring, logging, integrations, and roadmap evangelization.
About this role
As a Protheus Specialist, you will be responsible for bringing solutions to the development of backlog demands of the backoffice team, with customizations that involve the system to ensure the proper interfaces with other tools and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Protheus modules and functionalities, solid understanding of ERP systems concepts.
Responsible for the functional specification, technical design of ERP processes and solutions.
Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, make decisions on customize vs leverage out-of-the box functionality, build vs buy.
Work with global and local teams and deliver the projects as per the defined schedules.
Define the long-term roadmap and evangelize the functionality with the business users.
Implement and maintain monitoring and logging tools to track system performance and identify issues.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and stability.
Work with development and operations teams to resolve problems and guarantee continuous software deployment.
Participate in regular internal and external audits.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Ability to understand other enterprise systems in addition to Protheus.
Excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills are required.
5+ years of experience as a Protheus software developer in a mid to large sized organization.
5+ years of experience with databases systems and Microsoft SQL Server in particular.
MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
