Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at 3300 Main Street in Springfield, Massachusetts. Our team provides specialized esketamine treatment and patient-centered nursing care, working closely with patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe medication administration, individualized care, and high-quality outcomes.

The Registered Nurse role provides an opportunity to deliver specialized, patient-centered care while developing expertise in esketamine treatment and partnering with a multidisciplinary team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.

The Registered Nurse Will:

• Esketamine Program: Responsible for the secure storage, handling, and accountability of controlled substances, as well as supervising the administration of esketamine medication in accordance with established safety and clinical protocols. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide expected standards of care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational spiritual, safety, and age-appropriate considerations of patients.
• Assumes responsibility for the patient's plan of care and is held accountable for decisions specific to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
• Provides care directly to patients and in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
• Maintains a current level of knowledge and skill with technical procedures as defined by the nursing specialty organization, complies with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies, and is currently licensed in the state of Massachusetts as a registered nurse.

Required Skills

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
