Infinite Mindcare is a licensed, multi-specialty outpatient counseling center located in the heart of Grand Cayman. We provide evidence-based psychotherapy, corporate wellness programs, addictions support, first responder care, and are actively expanding into the future of mental health treatment through Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and emerging integrative modalities.


We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist who is passionate about both medical excellence and whole-person healing.

We are especially interested in psychiatrists who are excited about:

  • Brain-gut health and metabolic psychiatry
  • Functional and integrative approaches
  • Trauma-informed medication management
  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) collaboration and programme development
  • Future-forward interventions such as TMS and neurotechnology
  • Working alongside therapists, psychologists, and wellness practitioners in a team-based environment

ROLE OVERVIEW

As our Psychiatrist, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic clarification, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning.

You will also have the opportunity to help shape and expand our evolving psychiatric and integrative mental health services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate relevant diagnostic testing
  • Diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and psychopharmacology education
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Coordinate care with therapists, psychologists, physicians, and other providers
  • Collaborate with our KAP programme and multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Refer patients to hospitals or higher levels of care when warranted
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Dr. Chrono EHR
  • Stay informed on current psychiatric research, legislation, and clinical best practices
  • Participate in several community mental health advocacy events throughout the year
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and self-direction
  • Flexible hours and scheduling options available

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a psychiatrist who is both clinically skilled and personally grounded — someone who is relatable, compassionate, and capable of building strong rapport with patients.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical Degree and fully qualified, licensed Psychiatrist
  • Minimum 2 years post-licensure relevant experience
  • Eligibility for registration with the Cayman Islands Medical Board and/or Health Regulatory Council (CPAM)
  • Licenses accepted from: Jamaica, USA, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia
  • Ability to work with both adolescents and adults
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and independent decision-making abilities
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaborate with multidisciplinary providers

Preferred

  • Interest in holistic, integrative psychiatry, nutrition, inflammation, gut-brain connection
  • Experience or strong interest in psychedelic-assisted therapies (KAP experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Interest in neurotechnology and innovation (TMS, neurofeedback, etc.)
