PURCHASER
Own the materials pipeline that keeps a luxury shop running.

McKenzie Craft fabricates custom millwork out of our 25,000 sq ft shop in Miami. We are looking for a Purchaser to manage procurement end to end — sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and making sure the right stock is on the floor before production needs it.

What you will do

• Run day-to-day purchasing to support the production schedule
• Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, availability, and reliability, and negotiate terms accordingly
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders, verified against approved material lists and specifications
• Coordinate deliveries and resolve shipping and supply issues as they surface
• Attend weekly production meetings to forecast material needs and catch shortages early
• Maintain and audit the materials library, inventory tracking systems, and purchasing reports
• Process daily credit card receipts and enter invoices into financial software
• Keep documentation clean across takeoffs, purchase orders, shipping ETAs, delivery routes, and shipping tickets

What you bring

• Experience in purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Knowledge of architectural millwork and casework products preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs in a shop environment

Salaried, exempt. Reports to the Plant Manager.
