Job Summary

The QHSE Supervisor at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for the implementation and oversight of all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and policies at assigned project sites. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and client expectations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety and quality performance.

Job Responsibilities

* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and company QHSE policies.
* Develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive QHSE training programs for employees, subcontractors, and new hires.
* Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Prepare and maintain detailed QHSE reports, including incident logs, inspection findings, training records, and compliance documentation.
* Collaborate with project management, site superintendents, and other stakeholders to integrate QHSE considerations into all project phases.
* Oversee the proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
* Promote a proactive safety culture through communication, engagement, and recognition programs.
* Assist in the development and review of site-specific QHSE plans and procedures.
* Ensure all equipment is properly inspected, maintained, and operated safely.
* Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and inquiries.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QHSE role, preferably within the heavy civil, pipeline, or industrial construction industry.
* OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional certifications such as CSP, CHST, or equivalent are highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local QHSE regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
* Demonstrated experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
* Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
