Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Standardization (QHSE&S) Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and embed a strong Health, Safety and Environmental culture at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance through audits, inspections, monitoring activities, and coordination with external certification bodies.
  • Coordinate training, awareness programs, and communication initiatives to strengthen QHSE&S competencies across the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with internal teams to achieve QHSE&S objectives.
  • Lead and drive the development and implementation of integrated management systems (such as ISO 9001 and EMAS) across the organization.
  • Provide guidance on environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and related compliance requirements.
  • Support strategic decision-making through data analysis, risk assessment, and performance reporting on QHSE&S matters.
  • Monitor industry best practices and emerging trends, recommending improvements to enhance sustainability and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of extensive experience in QHSE&S, including significant leadership responsibility in energy, infrastructure, or industrial environments.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing management systems (ISO 9001, EMAS, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Experience in audits, inspections, compliance monitoring, and working with certification bodies.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel and work across various project sites as required.
