Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Standardization (QHSE&S) Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and embed a strong Health, Safety and Environmental culture at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure compliance through audits, inspections, monitoring activities, and coordination with external certification bodies.
- Coordinate training, awareness programs, and communication initiatives to strengthen QHSE&S competencies across the organization.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with internal teams to achieve QHSE&S objectives.
- Lead and drive the development and implementation of integrated management systems (such as ISO 9001 and EMAS) across the organization.
- Provide guidance on environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and related compliance requirements.
- Support strategic decision-making through data analysis, risk assessment, and performance reporting on QHSE&S matters.
- Monitor industry best practices and emerging trends, recommending improvements to enhance sustainability and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of extensive experience in QHSE&S, including significant leadership responsibility in energy, infrastructure, or industrial environments.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing management systems (ISO 9001, EMAS, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Experience in audits, inspections, compliance monitoring, and working with certification bodies.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel and work across various project sites as required.
