The contract execution assistant will be responsible for handling expiring contracts/renewals in a timely manner while collaborating with in-house counsel to red-line agreement drafts and negotiate amicable terms and conditions between the client and SGS.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Research regulations to ensure contracts are updated and in compliance with laws
• Collaborate with the business development team to renew expiring rate agreements and draft rate agreements with new clients
• Collaborate with in-house counsel to red-line agreement drafts and negotiate amicable terms and conditions between the client and SGS.
• Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency
• KPI Reporting
• Maintain client certificates on insurance, provide credit reports to the accounting department and generate monthly KPI reports related to financial performance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in Business or related discipline
• 5-7 years experience in contract review

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Language Skills
• Ability to communicate ideas with team members and clients to keep everyone apprised of contract related matters.
• Financial skills are necessary to evaluate whether or not a contract would produce profitable results for the company.
• Working knowledge of business law is necessary to effectively negotiate contract terms that mitigate legal risks to the company.
• A sense of urgency is necessary to promote execution of new business opportunities.
