Our reception team are based in office full time.
What You Will Do
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Greet visitors in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and couriers.
- Assist with planning social events.
- Maintain multiple meeting room calendars and ensuring any conflicts are resolved in a timely manner.
- Organize meetings room catering for clients and colleagues.
- General administrative duties, such as expenses, scanning, faxing, setting up access cards etc.
- Ensuring the office supplies are well stocked and placing supply orders.
- Other duties assigned by the Office Manager as required.
What You Bring
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a customer service, administrative or reception role (ideally in a professional services environment.)
- Proficiency with MS office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to speak comfortably with people in a variety of roles and levels of seniority.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure, dealing with changes and interruptions whilst maintaining deadlines.
- A positive approach to learning, growing, and accepting constructive feedback.
- Education in a relevant field is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
The starting salary for this position is $48,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
