The Regional Corporate Communications Supervisor will oversee internal and external communications across The Bahamas, Cayman, and Barbados. This role is responsible for supporting communication efforts related to events, partnerships, and campaigns while managing relationships with local public officials, professional associations, community leaders, and media. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and the ability to interact with senior executives and key stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage written communications, including press releases, executive messages, internal and external speeches, and official statements.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to support events, partnerships, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Spearhead the creation of industry-specific content for brochures, media stories, blog posts, newsletters, etc.
  • Align with corporate crisis management efforts, developing and implementing communication strategies to navigate potential issues.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with public officials, community leaders, local professional associations, and other key stakeholders to create opportunities for RF.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate community relations and government affairs into broader organizational strategies.
  • Serve as a contact for local media inquiries, and confidently navigate questions when handling public relations matters to enhance brand reputation.
  • Oversee relationships with PR agencies where necessary.
  • Independently identify and address communication challenges, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in messaging.



Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a strategic communications role, with a track record of managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with experience in press release writing, storytelling, and message development.
  • Strong ability to interact with senior executives and build effective relationships across internal teams, media, and the public.
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing integrated PR campaigns with measurable impact.
  • Experience managing relationships with PR agencies and overseeing public relations initiatives.
  • Ability to travel as needed across the region.
