Part-Time Employee or Contract, 10 to 15 hours per week, with up to 20 for the right candidate

The Louisville Center for Eating Disorders (LCED) is looking for a part-time or contract Registered Dietitian to join our treatment team. LCED is the only eating disorder specialty partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) program in Kentucky, and patients are referred to us from across the state. Our dietitian is central to every patient's care and works closely with our therapists, psychiatric provider and program staff.

At least one year of experience as an RD and prior eating disorder experience are preferred. If you are new to the specialty but interested in it, we will train you. You will have in-depth training from experienced clinicians, weekly treatment team consultation, and a full library of treatment manuals, workbooks, handouts and research articles.

What you would do:

• Lead nutrition groups for PHP and IOP patients
• Complete nutrition assessments at admission and help shape each patient's treatment plan
• Provide individual nutrition therapy for PHP and IOP patients
• Take part in weekly treatment team meetings
• Work with adolescents and adults, and with their families
• Keep accurate, timely documentation and protect patient privacy

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through CDR
• Kentucky Licensed Dietitian (LD), or eligible for licensure
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a program setting
• Contractors carry their own professional liability insurance

Employees are paid hourly, based on experience. Independent practitioners are welcome to apply.
