BPOD Latam is currently seeking a Renewals Account Specialist, based in São Paulo, Brazil.
Mission
The Renewals Specialist is responsible for managing the renewal cycle of an assigned book of business, ensuring the timely renewal of contracts and technology services and securing recurring revenue retention.
In this role, you will work with growing autonomy on low to mid complexity accounts, acting proactively well ahead of contract expiration rather than waiting for the deadline.
Responsibilities
- Manage the renewal pipeline for your assigned book: map every contract, renewal date, value and risk level, keeping records current in the CRM.
- Secure the ontime renewal of licenses, subscriptions and service contracts, negotiating standard terms and conditions within approved guidelines.
- Forecast renewals at least one quarter in advance and report progress in the established cadence with Customer Success and Sales.
- Identify early churn risk signals and act on them before the customer disengages, escalating high value or non standard situations to leadership.
- Detect upsell and cross-sell opportunities during the renewal cycle and hand them over to the appropriate team.
- Coordinate with Customer Success, Sales and technical support teams to ensure a smooth renewal process.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and partners to ensure satisfaction, resolve concerns and anticipate potential issues.
- Contribute ideas and best practices that improve renewal execution.
Qualifications
- Advanced student or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commercialization, or a related field.
- Advanced English (written and spoken) – required.
- Portuguese/Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work with sales data and basic reporting.
- Full-time availability.
- An interest in technology and sales.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles (sales, customer service, account management, renewals, internships, or similar) is a plus.
- A customer-first mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
