Currently, Bruegger’s is hiring qualified, hard-working Managers to join the team! In these roles, you’ll take on leadership ensuring great guest service, growing bakery sales, managing an enthusiastic team and interacting with the community, our guests!
General Manager Responsibilities
-Oversee product quality with consistent planning, preparation and delivery of the freshest quality bagels, coffee and other products
-Create an environment in the bakery that builds energy, vitality, and fun in order to produce happy guests and team members
-Recruit, interview and select outstanding guest service-oriented team members for your bakery
-Assist District Manager in recruiting bakery management personnel
-Provide termination, counseling, disciplinary and recognition action
-Ensure profitability through effective management of cost of goods, labor, controllable expenses, utilities, repairs, worker’s compensation and other aspects of bakery management -Ensure safety and sanitation for team members and guests
General Requirements
-Hiring, training and maintaining a quality staff
-Provide a safe work environment for both staff and our guests
-Complete and manage administrative paperwork including profit and loss statements, daily planning, and scheduling
-Implement in-house marketing plans
-Maintain inventory
-Must have excellent communication and leadership skills
-Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform bending and lifting tasks
-Must have reliable transportation
-Previous management experience preferred
-Provide excellent attention to detail
-Experience in restaurant industry a plus!
-At least 3 years of General Manager experience
